Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following matters on Monday:

• To extend the contracts for one year with no changes between the Northern Lehigh School District and the Co-Director of Business Affairs/Human Resources, and Co-Director of Business Affairs/ Payroll & Employee Benefits.

• The agreement between the Northern Lehigh School District and Northwestern Lehigh School District to assign a food service supervisor on an hourly basis from July 1, 2020, until June 30, 2021, as per the attached agreement.

• King Spry Herman Freund & Faul LLC as special counsel for the 2020-2021 school year for services. The hourly rate will be $185 per hour for partners and associates, and $95 per hour for paralegals. There is no change from last year’s rates.

• Amended the motion for the middle school Foreign Language Club final application, which was approved on May 11, to read the Northern Lehigh Education Association has recommended a stipend for Blasia Dunham of $1,000 for the 2020-2021 school year. Per Policy #122, the stipend for the first year of a club, 2019-2020, is $200.

• Paige Craddock as Student Representative to the Board for the 2020-2021 school year. Paige has been appointed as the junior representative to the board and will serve from September 2020 through June 2022. Aidan Williams will serve as the senior student representative to the board until June 2021.

• The settlement agreement and release in regards to a student.
