Times News Table Talk | Hope & Coffee

Times News Table Talk visited with Loren Collura of Hope & Coffee as part of the series local groups and businesses during the pandemic.

Hope & Coffee, located in downtown Tamaqua, has been in town since 2018. The nonprofit coffee shop supports recovery and individuals who are battling addiction. Starting on Saturday, Hope & Coffee will offer curbside pickup via online or call-in ordering on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. - noon. The full beverage menu will be available as well as breakfast items.

“We’re going to be featuring our breakfast menu,” Collura said. “It’s a limited food menu, but we have breakfast sandwiches, wraps, muffins and cream cheese. We also have specials; you can purchase our bagged coffee - our freshly roasted beans. You can buy three bags of coffee, and you can get a free cup of coffee. We also have a breakfast special with our new Recovery Roast and a breakfast sandwich for $5.25.”

Place an online order at ordering.app/hopecoffee. For more information, visit the Hope & Coffee Facebook page.

“We’re just really excited to open these doors again,” said Collura. “It’s hard for everyone right now financially. We just want to provide a way to keep the mission alive and keep the space alive … Hopefully this serves as a connector piece to the brighter future.

“All of our customers have been fantastic, they’re like family to us. We’ve seen some great support when we’ve announced that we are reopening. We’re looking forward to seeing some new and old faces as we launch this,” Collura said.
