A White Haven man is dead after a quarrel early Saturday evening.

State police said Robert Lee Jones, 50, was shot and killed after a fight with another man in the road at Lehigh Gorge Drive south of Buck Mountain Road in Lausanne Township.

The Troop N-Major Case Team out of Hazleton is investigating the incident which occurred at 6:22 p.m. Police said this is an isolated incident and stressed that there is no imminent danger to the public. The investigation is continuing and a suspect was not named.
