Winners of the Lehighton Holiday Decorating Contest have been announced.

Judging was held for the holiday lighting contest in the borough, and the winners were announced by borough officials.

The contest is sponsored by Lehighton Borough and the Lehighton Main Street Steering Committee.

Residential winners will receive a $25 discount on their utility bill, while the top commercial winners will receive a $100 discount on their utility bill.

The residential winners were selected by a secret group of elves who toured the entire community.

The 2019 Holiday Decorating Contest winners are:

The Main Street Steering Committee had hosted the Holiday Storefront Decorating Contest for local businesses.

The winners were selected by the votes of the community, and they will receive a $100 discount on their utility bill:

• Blended Bakery: 158 S. First St.

• Griff’s Ale Haus: 328 S. Second St.

• Jenny’s Sweets and More: 114 S. First St.

• Perfect Balance Boutique: 170 S. Third St.

• Salon Indigo: 191 S. First St.

The borough encourages residents and visitors to come and see its local community displays, visit the Trees in the Park and stop at its local winning businesses.
