The Neffs National Bank has donated 10 boxes and three bicycles to the local Toys for Tots Allentown.

The collection campaign ran from Nov. 4 through Dec. 6 in the bank’s lobby during regular business hours.

Items collected include stuffed animals, dolls, monster trucks, toy cars, board games and books.

Donations were received as a collective effort by the bank employees, customers, local businesses and the community.

“We have been doing this for the past six years and the support by the community has been overwhelming and we can’t thank them enough,” said Kevin Schmidt, president/CEO of The Neffs National Bank. “We have been told that we are one of the largest collection sites in the Lehigh Valley and we look forward to assisting in this event each year.”

According to the Toys for Tots Allentown website, 85,183 toys were distributed in 2018 and over 30,000 children were supported in the community’s efforts.
