Isett named one of the best places to work in Pa.

Barry Isett & Associates Inc. is proud to announce that the firm has been named one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania by the Central Penn Business Journal. The company has been recognized with 26 other businesses in the medium-sized company category. This honor, founded in 1999 by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and Team Pennsylvania, recognizes firms across Pennsylvania based upon their company size.

Eligible employers must be in business for a minimum of a year, employ 15 or more staff, and have a facility in the Commonwealth. Both publicly traded and privately owned firms are eligible for the award. In addition, for-profit, not-for-profit and government entities can take part. Hundreds of companies located throughout Pennsylvania submit nominations to be considered for the recognition.

Isett began the application process in June, and was asked to identify the company’s benefits, philosophy, culture and policies. Confidential employee-engagement surveys were distributed to Isett associates throughout August. Company data is evaluated by Best Companies Group with a two-part approach: the policies and practices as reported by the company and employee satisfaction based upon individual survey responses.

“The data that we get back from the Best Places to Work in PA survey is very comprehensive and helpful to us. As a company, we strive for continuous improvement,” said Kevin Campbell, PE, LEED AP, President and CEO of Barry Isett & Associates.

Winning companies were notified in September and celebrated at the 2019 Best Places to Work in PA event in Lancaster.
