NCC presents ‘The Dark Web and Female Hackers’

Join Northampton Community College’s Beth Ritter-Guth, associate dean of online learning and education, as she explores the roles women can play in fighting crimes committed on the Dark Web, a part of the internet that isn’t indexed by search engines and where all manner of drugs, guns, counterfeit money, stolen credentials and more are for sale.

The free, two-hour interactive presentation and workshop will feature the work of women in the ethical hacking field and help participants get started on a path toward industry certification and credit degrees.

The program will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the first floor of NCC’s Fowler Family Southside Center in the Follet Family Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
