Northern Lehigh School Board took the following action on Monday:

• Appointed Marshall Dennehey as special counsel for legal services during the 2019-20 school year.

• Approved the Use of Funds Agreement with CLIU#21 for IDEA Part B, Section 611 pass through funds for the 2019-20 school year in the amount of $285,523.

• Approved the agreement between Northern Lehigh School District and Northwestern Lehigh School District to assign a food service supervisor on an hourly basis from Oct. 10 until June 30, 2020.

• Granted Jennifer Butz permission to attend the 98th Annual PA State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Conference Dec. 5-6 at Spooky Nook Sports, in Manheim, with the cost for travel, $97, for a total cost of about $97, to be funded from the Slatington Elementary Professional Development Budget.

• Approved the resolution directing the Northampton County Tax Claim Bureau not to collect delinquent taxes on behalf of the district.

• Approved the resolution directing the Lehigh County Tax Claim Bureau not to collect delinquent taxes on behalf of the district.

• Announced that the holiday dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the middle school annex.

• Announced that the Dec. 3 school board reorganization meeting will be held at 6:45 p.m. Dec. 3 in the middle school auditorium, with the regular school board meeting to follow at 7 p.m.
