It’s the Reader’s Turn at St. Jerome Regional School

This past week was National STEM week, what are you most excited about with the STEM curriculum?

Julia Meiss, eighth grade“My favorite part is the STEM team that I am on. We use K’Nex pieces to make ecofriendly inventions. First year I did that was in sixth grade and we made a salt on the move invention where it brought seasonings across the table. Last year, we had to make a crane. That was fun, too. We have been in sixth through eighth grade division for the IU-29 competition.”
Tin Chrin, fifth grade“That everything has been upgraded with all the green screens and new smartboards.”
Andrew Reaman, fourth grade“The new ozobots and new smartboards.”
James Gelatko, fifth grade“I am excited to work together with my friends with some of the most modern STEM products and do STEM challenges throughout the year.”
Isabella Horvat, sixth grade“I like using and seeing new technology and using that technology with groups. Ms. Daukshus makes it fun with how she explains how to use the technology.”
Caitlyn Kovatch, seventh grade“The ozobots and just to work in groups and teams to accomplish a project.”
