State police at Frackville released the results of a sobriety checkpoint conducted on Aug. 9 in Schuylkill County along Route 61 in New Castle Township.

A total of 198 vehicles were stopped, with two drivers tested for driving under the influence, and one arrested for suspicion of DUI. One driver was arrested for possession of illegal substances with a total of six warnings given out and 15 citations issued.
