Blue Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery is back for the second year with a music, food and wine festival on Sept. 7 at its Saylorsburg location.

The five-hour event will kick off at noon on the grounds of the vineyard.

In addition to wine, it will feature performances by artists Kevin Griffin from Better Than Ezra, country superstar Josh Gracin, Emerson Hart from Tonic, Crystal Bowersox and Kulick, fronted by Tamaqua native Jacob Kulick.

This year’s event will also benefit local police and fire departments in the area.

About the performers

Kicking off the day is a new alternative band Kulick, fronted by Tamaqua native, Jacob Kulick.

Kulick is getting early airplay around the country for their debut single “Scatterbrain.”

Kevin Griffin from Better Than Ezra has been cranking out alt-rock hits since 1995.

Better Than Ezra ruled the airwaves with smash hits like “Good,” “In the Blood” and “Desperately Wanting.”

Kevin is also an accomplished songwriter who has had hits with Barenaked Ladies and the hit “Collide” with Howie Day.

Josh Gracin was serving in the Marine Corps when he made it all the way to the final four on Season 2 of American Idol.

What followed was a slew of hits including “Nothing To Lose.”

He is preparing a new EP for a fall release.

Emerson Hart tours as a solo artist, as well as Tonic. Tonic is most recognized for their 1996 hit “If You Could Only See,” as well as songs “You Wanted More” and “Open Up Your Eyes.”

Crystal Bowersox is also an American Idol season 8 runner-up, noted for her dreadlocks and her willingness to go toe to toe with Simon Cowell.

She grabbed the nation’s attention with “Me & Bobby McGee.”

Tickets for the event include parking and lawn seating, so concertgoers should bring a lawn chair or blanket. Food and wine will also be available for sale.
