Schuylkill man cited for inspecting cars while license was suspended

A Schuylkill County business owner has been cited for fraudulent business practices.

State police at Frackville said Robert Moser, owner of Moser Automotive, 39 Walnut St., Ashland, was cited for issuing fraudulent inspection stickers. Troopers said Moser issued an inspection sticker to a customer on or about April 27 at 9 a.m. while his inspection license was suspended by PennDOT and he was not legally permitted to inspect vehicles.

Charges filed against Moser include tampering with records, altered forged documents, deceptive business practices and theft by deception.

Any person who had their vehicle inspected and sticker applied at Moser’s location between December 2018 and the present is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
