Weatherly girls qualify for D-11 playoffs

The Weatherly girls basketball team clinched a District 11 playoff berth on Wednesday.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Weatherly-LLA

Weatherly punched its playoff ticket with a 74-34 non-league win over Lincoln Leadership Academy.

The Wreckers’ Megan Peifer netted a game-high 18 points, while Emily Zoscin, Lindsey Hoffman and Ashley James followed with 14, 12 and 10, respectively.

Ramsey Rodriguez led LLA with an 18-point performance.

Weatherly moves to 11-3 overall on the season.
