State police at Lehighton reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

• On Friday at 5:26 p.m., troopers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Meixsell Valley Road in Ross Township, Monroe County, for a reported assault. On scene, troopers learned that Jason Cascioli, 46, of Saylorsburg, threw a brick at the front windshield a 42-year-old East Stroudsburg woman while she was seated in the driver’s seat. He was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief and harassment. Unable to post bail set at $5,000, he was committed to the Monroe County Prison.

• On Saturday at 7:27 p.m., troopers responded to the Covered Bridge Inn along Little Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for an extremely intoxicated person falling asleep at the bar. As a result, Michael Wrecsics, 41, of Bath, was removed from the bar and cited for public drunkenness.

• On Sunday at 12:19 a.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop for vehicle code violations along Cherry Hill Road at Interchange Road in Franklin Township, Carbon County. The driver, Jason Loch, 45, of Kunkletown, was found to be in possession of marijuana. Charges to be filed.

• On Dec. 31 at 6:32 p.m. a 67-year-old Lehighton man, who troopers declined to identify, was taken into custody for driving under the influence. The incident occurred along Long Run Road at Beech Street in Franklin Township. Charges are pending test results.

• On Wednesday at 9:52 p.m., a driver, who troopers declined to identify, was stopped along Burger Hollow Road at Maple Drive, in Polk Township, Monroe County, for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are pending test results.

• On Jan. 1 at 9:03 a.m. a suspect, who police declined to identify, was stopped at Main and Interchange roads in Franklin Township for a traffic violation. He was found to be operating the vehicle without an ignition interlock system which he was required to have on his vehicle. Charges will be filed.
