The Tamaqua boys and girls both posted wins in basketball action on Tuesday.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Shenandoah Valley-Tamaqua

Tamaqua rolled to a 62-36 victory over Shenandoah Valley.

The Blue Raiders’ Lucas Gregoire posted a game-high 22 points, while Brayden Knoblauch chipped in with 12.

Evan Kosar paced the Devils with 11.

Nate Rosahac paced the Olympians (2-0) with 14 points. Tyler Burak added 13 points, while Justin Cannariato and Caiden Hurley each scored 11.

Albe Evans had 20 for the Hurricanes.

Jim Thorpe won the JV game, 55-31.

Victoria Donovan posted 20 points for the Blue Devils.
