It’s the Reader’s Turn at Parkside Education Center In October we celebrate world space week. First-graders at Parkside Education Center were asked, “What do astronauts do in space?”

Corey Stout“They go to planets and check them out like the planet Saturn. They also explore other planets to see if they have aliens.”
Harper Hahn“They have fun and they search for little rocks to bring back to earth.”
Zackary Zelinsky“They get lots of rocks and they do a lot of stuff for science.”
Kylie Beahn“They go to the moon. They have fire on the bottom of their rockets because that’s what makes them fly.”
Lucas Beahn“They fly rocket trips to the moon and the sun. They sleep in the mornings because they don’t want to fly close to the sun during the day.”
