Impressionist painter Claude Monet created a series of water colors he dubbed “Water Lilies,” which depicted his home water garden in France.

You too can learn to paint like Monet, thanks to classes at the Tamaqua Community Art Center, 125 Pine St., Tamaqua. The classes are taught by Hilary England. The next class will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Preregistration is required. The fee includes a canvas, brushes, supplies and light refreshments.
