The Monroe County Municipal Waste Management Authority will be holding two more composting classes this year for county residents on Sept. 8 and Oct.13. The classes will start at 9 a.m. and last approximately one hour. Cost is $25 per person and each participant will receive a backyard “Earth Machine” compost bin, retail value $99.

All classes will be held at the Waste Authority in Blakeslee.

In order to participate, you must pre-register and prepay with the Monroe County Waste Authority. Classes are limited to 20 people.
