Bethany EC Church

Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class, fellowship time at 10:15 a.m., morning worship at 10:45 a.m., preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Evening worship, 7 p.m., fellowship hall.

Monday: Kids Club, 6-7:15 p.m. each Monday.

Wednesday: Revelation Bible study, 6 p.m.; prayer meeting, 7 p.m.

Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.

Trinity highlights

Sunday worship with Holy Communion at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., begins at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free wafers are available to those with allergy issues. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Rich Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.

There will be no church school classes due to the annual meeting when reports of congregational activities are reviewed and actions vital to the health of the Trinity occur. Congregational members are urged to attend. Sunday church school classes for students ages 3 through sixth grade resume Jan. 28.

“Thunder and Lightning” youth group for students in grades four-six will gather from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 24 in the youth room, with supper, Bible study and discussion.

“Breaking Bread” youth group for students in grades seven-12 will gather from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 28 in the youth room with similar format. Vicar Rich Bergen is the adviser.

For those desiring to seek membership at Trinity or arranging a baptismal date, an appointment may be arranged with Pastor Moore by contacting the church office at 610-377-4303.
