McAdoo Police cited Martin Perez Villa, 50, of Hazleton, after a traffic stop on Aug. 23.

Villa was stopped at 6:24 a.m. after officers clocked him traveling 41 mph in a 25 mph zone. The Pennsylvania identification card Villa provided to the officer had several inconsistencies, such as a wrong abbreviation in the address. A records check determined the car was a fraud.Villa was cited for possession of a fraudulent official document, speeding and driving without a valid license.• A reported domestic incident in McAdoo on Aug. 6 resulted in charges for three people.Crystal Lopez, 26, of McAdoo, told police she had been assaulted by a man she knew only as Franklyn. Two witnesses, Kaitlin Karnish, 19, of McAdoo, and Amira Calderon, 19, of Hazleton, agreed that Franklyn assaulted Lopez.A few days later, Lopez changed her story and said it was a different man who assaulted her.She, Karnish and Calderon were charged with filing a false report, while Lopez and Karnish were also charged with disorderly conduct for the domestic incident.
