August 29, 2003 - Roberto Rombosa and Brendan Kovaleski help lead Pleasant Valley to a 6-3 soccer victory over Liberty in its season opener. Rombosa finishes with a hat trick, scoring the Bears first three goals. Kovaleski adds a pair of second-half tallies to keep PV ahead. The winners, coached by Jake Percey, also receive a goal and assist from Dylan Hurley, while Ryan Bernard, Eddie Fernandez and Allen Moss each chip in with an assist.
