Free tickets for vets to see Oak Ridge Boys

The State Theatre, 453 Northampton St. in Easton, is "sparking the arts" for veterans by giving two free tickets to area veterans for the Oak Ridge Boys. The concert is set for 7:30 p.m. Sept. 8.

The Oak Ridge Boys have one of the most distinctive and recognizable sounds in the music industry. Their four-part harmonies and upbeat songs spawned dozens of country hits and No. 1 pop smash hits, earning them Grammy, Dove, CMA and ACM awards. The band was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2015.Every time they step on a stage, the Oak Ridge Boys bring four decades of charted singles and 50 years of tradition.For free tickets, military veterans must request their tickets at the box office, or by phone.
