McAdoo Police have released information on several recent cases after receiving the results of drug tests.

Craig Thomas, 29, of Hazleton, was stopped for a traffic violation at 11:10 p.m. on July 15 and admitted to drinking, but "not too crazy," at three different bars in the Hazleton area. After failing field sobriety tests, he was taken for blood tests. Upon his return to McAdoo, there was a taxi waiting for him on North Kennedy Drive.As officers watched, Thomas exited the taxi and returned to his parked vehicle. He pulled out in to traffic and was immediately stopped by police. He again failed field sobriety tests and was taken for blood tests.The results of the first test show a blood alcohol content of 0.384 percent, while the second came up 0.342 percent, over four times the legal limit of 0.08 percent.He was charged with multiple counts of DUI and traffic violations.Lucy Nieves-Rabell, 41, of Hazleton, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a July 2 traffic stop.Officers discovered Nieves-Rabell does not have a valid driver's license. They also found two small bags of marijuana and four smoked roaches. She was given and failed field sobriety tests before being taken for blood tests.Test results were positive for marijuana, and oxycodone.In addition to the DUI, she was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two traffic offenses.Sean Sullivan, 28, of Nesquehoning was stopped at 11:57 p.m. on July 14.Officers noted a strong odor of marijuana in his car and Sullivan admitted to smoking about one hour earlier. He also handed officers a zippered pouch containing a glass pipe and a small amount of marijuana.He agreed to a blood test, which came back positive for THC.In addition to being charged with DUI, Sullivan was cited for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and a traffic offense.Richard Hunsinger, 29, of McAdoo, was stopped at 2:19 on July 1 for a nonworking headlight.A strong odor of alcohol was noticed by the officer and Hunsicker admitted to drinking one beer. He failed field sobriety tests before being taken to the hospital for blood tests.Test results show he had a blood alcohol content of 0.145 percent.He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, driving with an expired inspection sticker and expired registration and the headlight violation.Kelly Gilhool, 39, of McAdoo, was cited for harassment after she slammed a door on another woman's arm on July 25. She also allegedly punched the victim in the head.
