On Aug. 18, Eckley Miners' Village, located at 2 Eckley Main St. in Weatherly, will be hosting a free day.

Admission to the museum, introductory video and guided tours will be free from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for everyone.There will be a variety of other nonprofit organizations throughout the day with information for visitors.The free day is being provided by the Jack Bunchner Foundation in Pittsburgh.More information will be posted on Eckley's Facebook page and at
