Elvis tribute coming to Mohegan Sun Pocono

Elvis tribute artist Shawn Klush and Elvis' own Sweet Inspirations will perform in honor of the 40th anniversary of Elvis' death at Mohegan Sun Pocono, 1280 Highway 315, Wilkes-Barre, in the Keystone Grand Ballroom at 8 p.m. Aug. 26 and 4 p.m. Aug. 27.

Klush, who was voted the "World's Greatest Elvis" by 6.5 million international viewers, will be backed by Elvis' own backup singers, The Sweet Inspirations and the Ambassadors of Elvis Band.Klush's love for music led him to begin imitating his musical idol, Elvis Presley; making his performances recognized worldwide for his distinguished Elvis impersonation, including his sultry looks, vocal accuracy and swaying hips. He has long performed alongside Elvis' closest friends, musicians and backup singers.Klush has received numerous awards and honors for his performances, including "First Ever Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist" by Elvis Presley Enterprises and "Best Concert Elvis" by Gibson Guitar. He's appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, and starred as Elvis in the Legends in Concert shows in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.Klush has released four CDs and CD singles. He recently sold out a 15-city tour of Australia and has record-breaking performances in the U.S., Australia, Switzerland, Canada, the U.K. and South America.
