A Lehighton woman is facing charges following an incident on Jan. 10 at the Carbon Plaza Mall.

Mahoning Township police responded to the mall about 8:01 p.m. for a report of an intoxicated person. On scene police found a 14-year-old juvenile smoking a cigarette.Police then found the juvenile's mother, Alicia Hibbler, 38, in possession of methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana and a syringe.As a result police have charged Hibbler with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 22.
