Police report the following:

• A Schuylkill County man has been charged with retail theft following an incident that occurred on Sunday.State police at Schuylkill Haven said Dylan Ward, of Pottsville, was observed in the Giant Market, located in the Cressona Mall in North Manheim Township, about 3:10 p.m. attempting to leave the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise without paying for the items. He was stopped by store security and held until troopers arrived.• A New Ringgold man was cited by Tamaqua police after he attempted to steal a Monster energy drink from Fegley's Mini Mart, 30-32 Center St. on Nov. 4.Dylan Smolar, 21, was caught in the act by store personnel, who saw him hiding the can in his pants at 1:58 p.m.He was cited for retail theft, his second offense.• A Schuylkill County woman is facing a charge of retail theft following an incident that occurred about 7-7:40 p.m. on Tuesday in a county department store.State police at Schuylkill Haven said Justine Villanueva, of Minersville, entered Boscov's Department Store in the Fairlane Village Mall in Norwegian Township and was observed by store personnel placing a number of clothing items on her person, then exiting the store without paying for them.
