Simple assault: Clifford Diefenderfer, 40, of Palmerton, charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment, for an incident Nov. 9 in the 500 block of Franklin Avenue.Disorderly conduct: Jami Haja, 33, of Palmerton, charged with disorderly conduct, for an incident Nov. 16 in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue.Possession of drug paraphernalia: Matthew Miller, 29, of Walnutport, charged with DUI, possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, driving under suspension, unlawful activities, and general lighting requirements, for an incident Sept. 8 on Route 248 east.Harassment: Robert McHugh, 40, of Palmerton, and Janet Harbowyj, 56, of Coplay, charged with harassment, for an incident Nov. 22 in the 800 block Delaware Avenue.Jennifer Canham, 36, and David Canham, 36, both of Palmerton, charged with harassment, for an incident Nov. 25 in the 600 block of Franklin Avenue.DUI: John Schaeffer, 45, of Palmerton, charged with DUI and traffic control signals, for an incident Oct. 9 at Delaware Avenue and Second Street.Underage drinking: Manuel Martinez, 18, of Allentown, charged with underage drinking, for an incident Nov. 24 on Route 248 east.Citations: Police also issued 13 citations for speeding, eight for vehicle violations, five for traffic violations, and three for maximum gross weight.
