GRANTVILLE, Pa. (AP) - Police have been fielding reports of suspicious clowns across Pennsylvania for weeks, and now one of them is speaking out.

Thirty-four-year-old Jonathan Kline says he's not guilty.He was cited for disorderly conduct after police in East Hanover Township say he jumped in front of cars wearing the mask, startling people. Police say they have witnesses. But the Palmyra man says that's not what happened.Kline says he heard about the spate of clown sightings and decided to walk to his friend's house about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday where he planned to scare his friend when he came outside to smoke a cigarette.But Kline says several vehicles started following him as he walked to his friend's house where he was found holding the mask and wearing street clothes when police arrived.
