Fire companies from throughout Carbon County responded to a structure fire early Saturday morning in Mahoning Township.

The fire was first reported just after 1 a.m. at the end of Boyko Drive about a mile north of Beaver Run Road.

When firefighters arrived on scene in the remote area they found a large wood frame structure fully involved in flames.

Due to the remote location of the scene water had to be tanked into the site.

The structure was semi-attached to a dwelling by a breezeway.

Flames ravaged the structure in minutes leveling it to ashes. No injuries were reported in the incident.
