A young woman escaped serious injuries Saturday morning when involved in a crash along Little Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

The crash occurred at 6:39 a.m. as she was traveling west and failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.

Her car crossed the roadway entering the left berm where it impacted with and uprooted a large pine tree.

The driver was given a field sobriety test by a state trooper.
