Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor. Third St., at 5 p.m. The church is air-conditioned. Sunday worship with Holy Communion is at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free communion wafers are available for those with allergies. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides, Vicar Lauren Heywood assists. Coffeehouse fellowship is at 10:30 a.m.First Tuesday quiet communion is 10 a.m. July 5.Trinity's Community Vacation Bible School "Cave Quest" is 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11-15, for children age 3 through grade six. The sessions are aimed to assist children to follow their faith by exploring who Jesus is - the light of the world. The free registration information is available in the narthex.
