Kelly Westermann of Palmerton was named to the dean's list with a 4.0 GPA for both the fall and spring semesters of her freshman year at Bloomsburg University where she is majoring in nursing.

Kelly is the daughter of Jack and Sharon Westermann and the granddaughter of Diana Westermann and Joseph Grayo. She is a graduate of Palmerton Area School District.
