Vacation Bible Schools

Information has been received from two churches in Jim Thorpe that will be sponsoring Vacation Bible School this summer for the children of the community.Ebenezer E.C. Church, 441 Centre Ave., will hold its Bible school from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 13-17. It is open to children of all denominations from ages 4 to 14. The theme is At Ocean Commotion. Children will learn how Noah stood for God during the time of the Great Flood. There will be songs, crafts, games, goodies and dramas.St. John's Lutheran Church, 319 South Ave., will also hold a Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 27 through July 1. This program is open to children preschool through sixth grade. The theme is Cave Quest, Following Jesus, the Light of the World.
