The Coaldale American Legion, Post 170, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday to accept nominations for officers.

A number of other issues will also be on the agenda, including Memorial Day services sponsored by the Coaldale United Veterans Organization.The UVO will be conducting Memorial Day services on May 29, with L. Marc Burlile Sr., Commander of American Legion Department of Pennsylvania District 13, as the main speaker.Services will be held at 1 p.m. in Seek and at Coaldale Borough Hall at 2:30 p.m. In the event of rain, there will be only one service, at 2 p.m., at the Coaldale Complex.
