A recent clean-up has brought attention of the problem of illegal dumping and littering in our area. More than 100 tires alone were found along the roadways of Flagstaff Road and Lentz Trail just west of Jim Thorpe during a cleanup last week. Television sets and furniture were also found in areas that are not highly traveled.
