MOUNTAINHOME (AP) - A brush fire is still burning in the Pocono Mountains of eastern Pennsylvania, but state conservation officials hope rains forecast will help crews put out the fire this weekend.

Cecile Stetler, a spokeswoman for the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources tells WNEP-TV that rainy, cool weather should help crews douse the last of the flames. Two brush fires were set about a week ago and one continues to burn Friday. More than 8,000 acres and 11 structures have burned, but none of the buildings were permanent homes and the fire is now more than 80 percent contained. The state's Bureau of Forestry and an anonymous donor are offering a $10,000 reward for information.
