All are welcome.The June meeting is set for 7 p.m. on June 7.Health screeningThe Omega Health Screen will be offered from 7 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturdayat St. Francis of Assisi Church, 140 W. The screening is sponsored by the Nesquehoning Woman's Club.Burn banNesquehoning residents are reminded that a borough wide burn ban is in effect until May 28. Outdoor burning of any kind is prohibited during the ban and violators will be fined.Recreation CommissionThe next meeting of the Nesquehoning Recreation Commission will be at 7 p.m. June 6 at the recreation center. There is no meeting in May. The commission is still looking for volunteers to sit on the board. Interested parties should send a letter of interest to the borough at 114 W. Catawissa St.
