A man and small child escaped serious injury Saturday evening in a crash along Long Run Road in Franklin Township. The crash occurred at 6:30 p.m. as the man was traveling east and lost control, striking a rock wall on the right berm and causing the car to roll. Lehighton paramedics took the 1½-year-old child, and the man was placed into the rear of the Franklin Township police cruiser. The driver was transported to the Lehighton hospital for a blood test.
