Plans are moving forward at an industrial park situated on the edge of Carbon County.

On Tuesday, the Carbon County Planning Commission voted to recommend plan approval for a proposed warehouse development at the McAdoo Industrial Park, lot 5, in Banks Township.The plans call for constructing a 10,000-square-foot commercial warehouse with two loading docks and a 1,250-square-foot office for a company called Division 2 LLC. No information about the company has been released.According to the park's site map online, the lot is on 8.18 acres and is in a Keystone Opportunity Zone until Dec. 31, 2017.The planning commission's review stated that the plan "conforms to all preliminary/final plan requirements of the Banks Township Land Development Ordinance. However, a revised sewage facilities planning module reviewed and approved by the state Department of Environmental Protection for the appropriate number of EDUs for the proposed commercial warehouse and office may be required prior to final plan approval."In other matters, the county planning commission made recommendations on the following projects.• Jose C. and Maria L. Amorim and Manuel R. and Amelia A.G. Amorim received conditional plan rejection for a proposed subdivision at 314-316 Apple St., Bowmanstown. The plans call for creating two lots out of a 0.248-acres lot. The site of the proposed subdivision is an existing residential land tract with an existing apartment building with two units on lot 2, which does not conform to the requirement that lots be used for only single family detached buildings.• Jeffrey R. and Wanda L. Buck received conditional plan approval for a proposed subdivision at 1380 Walnut Drive, Lower Towamensing Township. The plans call for subdividing 11.607 acres into two lots.• Joseph Ritzel received conditional plan approval for a proposed subdivision at 157-158 Towamensing Trail, Towamensing Trails Section V, Penn Forest Township. The plans call for combining two lots to create a 0.842-acre lot. The commission also recommended approval of two waivers that were requested based on the township engineer's recommendations.• Tabled a proposed subdivision from Michael D. and Lisa G. Gabory of Franklin Township after it was deemed inadministratively incomplete for lack of payment for the review fee.
