Jim Thorpe police report arrests

Jim Thorpe police have reported on the following arrests:

Nasir Lawrence, 18, of Albrightsville, was arrested on Jan. 27 at the Jim Thorpe High School for having in his possession a weapon on school property. Police did not state what kind of weapon he had.Matthew M. Reppert, 18, of Lehighton, was cited for prohibited offensive weapons and use of tobacco on school property for an incident on Jan. 13 at the Carbon Career & Technical Institute.Anthony M. Quinn, 30, of Jim Thorpe, was arrested for retail theft on Jan. 26 at the Jim Thorpe Market. He was also charged with receiving stolen property.David Anthony Devincent, 60, of Lansdale, Montgomery County, was arrested for simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for an incident on March 13 in the area of 111 Broadway.Betty Ann Waxter,45, of Jim Thorpe, was charged with accidents involving damage to attended vehicle or property, duty to given information and render aid, operation of a vehicle without official certificate of inspection and careless driving. The incident occurred on Feb. 2 in the 100 block of Fern St., police said.Two parties in a domestic incident were cited.Harvey Claud Clymer III, 43, andRichard Connolly, 58, both of Jim Thorpe, were cited for simple assault and harassment following a domestic incident that occurred on March 21 at their residence.Darryl Hartman, 50, of Jim Thorpe, was cited for harassment and disorderly conduct for an incident on March 26 along Route 903 at the inner borough bridge.Jason P Miller, 33, of Jim Thorpe was charged with theft by deception and bad checks for an incident on Dec. 11, 2015, at the Mauch Chunk Pharmacy.Two people were cited at the courthouse when police were called by members of the adult probation office.Greg D. Vandermartin, 30, of Nesquehoning, andJonathan Turner, 31, of Lehighton, were both charged with furnishing drug-free urine. Turner was charged for an incident on Jan. 6 and Vandermartin on March 18.
