March 30, 1971 - Lehighton earns a first place in all 15 events to cruise past West Hazleton, 113-10, in track action. Larry Stout captures two of those firsts, while Kevin Seltzer wins one and ties for first in another. Stout takes the 100 and 220, with Seltzer claiming the triple jump and sharing first with Dave Long in the high jump. The Indians, coached by Ken Reid, also receive firsts from Jim Morris (440), John Meier (880), Denny Koch (mile), John Wentz (two-mile), George Barkanic (shot put), Herb Gasker (discus), Dale Harleman (long jump) and Rich Hopstock (pole vault).
