The Pale Moon Players announce auditions for the musical "Plain & Fancy."

Auditions will be held at 7 p.m. April 5 at Grace Lutheran Church at Fourth and Mahoning streets in Lehighton.The show is being co-produced by the Lehighton 150th Celebration Committee and The Pale Moon Players.It will be performed at the Lehighton Annex building on June 30 as part of the Lehighton 150th Celebration andJuly 7-9 to benefit further theatrical endeavors of The Pale Moon Players.No preparation is necessary, as those who audition will be asked to do a cold reading from the script.All roles require some singing, either in a chorus or in solo form. Singing auditions will be done privately with the music director.The script calls for 19 male and 11 female roles. There are also a few roles for children age 7 through 17, but the majority of the roles are for adults age 18 through 80.All roles are open, and no prior acting experience is necessary.For anyone with questions, or those who are unavailable on April 5, a private audition can be arranged by calling Bob at 610-451-0521, or Dave at 484-542-0854.They are also looking for people to volunteer their time as ushers, set builders, light/sound operators and stage/house managers.
