Thomas G. Hood, head of MMI Preparatory School, Freeland, has announced the names of students who achieved honor roll status during the second quarter of the 2015-2016 school year.
The honor roll recognizes sound academic performance each quarter. To earn a place on the honor roll, a student must have a cumulative average in all core subjects of 85, have attained an average of 70 or better in each course, have no "incompletes" at the end of the nine-week grading period, be enrolled in a complete schedule of courses and have a satisfactory citizenship record.The following students local students have earned honor roll recognition for the second quarter of the 2015-2016 school year:Sixth grade: Keiran Mele, Jim Thorpe; and Dustin Paul, Jim Thorpe.Seventh grade: Samantha Sparich, Weatherly.Eighth grade: Kai Mele, Jim Thorpe.10th grade: Lauren Babinetz, Jim Thorpe; John Malay, Jim Thorpe; Abigail Paul, Jim Thorpe; Mark Sitch, Weatherly; and Cole Wenner, Lehighton.12th grade: Andreas Boosalis, Weatherly; Shaelyn Heft, Lehighton; Sarah Moyer, Bowmanstown; Karalyn Sitch, Weatherly; and Nash Wenner, Lehighton.
