BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) - The star of TLC's "Cake Boss" show is running into a little trouble promoting his new Italian restaurant in Pennsylvania.

The Express-Times reports Buddy Valastro is opening a Buddy V's this spring at the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem. His other one is in Las Vegas.A casino representative asked the Bethlehem Planning Commission on Thursday for permission to erect a neon sign on the casino's roof.But planners denied the request. They say rooftop signs aren't allowed under city zoning laws and making an exception could set a precedent.The capital projects manager for the resort says there's a backup plan. He says a sign would be allowed on the side of the casino.
