The book club which meets at St. John's United Church of Christ, 891 Columbia Ave., Palmerton, will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 14. The book they will be discussing is "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" by Betty Smith. The service will include a children's message. A worship and music committee meeting will be at noon.Gaming GrottoLiving Hope Lighthouse Church, 705 Third St., Palmerton hosts a Gaming Grotto the first and third Fridays of every month from 7-11 p.m., the next being Jan. 15.
