A LOOK BACK

JANUARY 2, 1958T. George Lynn, formerly of Jim Thorpe, has accepted retirement after serving as Jersey Central Lines trainmaster with his latest office in the Ashley Yards near Wilkes-Barre.Lynn had offices with the company in Jim Thorpe’s former Navigation building before its occupancy by Patrician Frocks, Inc.During his 45 years of service, Lynn filled many positions and by reason of his varied service and different occupations, his acquaintance with the Jersey Central Lines is thorough going.Probably none of the company’s yardmasters is better known to the railroad’s thousands of officials and employees.
