Pope Francis visited the United States and stopped in Philadelphia in September. The event was considered a-once-in-a-lifetime experience for many. Getting there would be a miracle.

"I couldn't find a bus and then I got a call that seats were available," said Camille Brown.That call was from Kristin Osenbach, the director of parish ministries at St. John XXIII Church in Tamaqua. As soon as she heard the pope was coming to Philly she decided to arrange for a bus to go, and the response from parishioners was very positive.While in Philadelphia, Pope Francis celebrated Mass on Sept. 27 on the Ben Franklin Bridge.Thousands of people with tickets were able to watch the Mass, and thousands of others gathered in Logan Square and outlying streets to watch the Mass on Jumbotrons.The highlight of the day for those on the square was when Pope Francis rode through the, streets waving to the public, and stopped to bless the Knotted Grotto outside of the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul.
