Christmas services

St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, has announced the following schedule for the Christmas services. Candlelight Holy communion service, Christmas Eve, beginning at 7 p.m. There will be no Saturday evening service, but there will be a service of Lessons and Carols on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. There will also be Sunday school beginning at 9:15 a.m.St. Paul's Lutheran ChurchSt. Paul's Lutheran Church, Albrightsville, will begin the Christmas service with a concert presented by organist Alex Haggerty and trumpeter Frank. This program will begin at 6:15 p.m., followed by the Christmas Eve Holy communion service at 7. There will also be special music by the bell choir and choir.Contact Ann Louise Hayes at 570-325-4435.
