The Relay For Life of Lower Carbon County team "Don't Stop Believing" received $250 in donation from the 108th Slatington Halloween Parade.

Russell Hallman, parade director and owner of Hallman's Auto Service on Main Street, handed Jamie and Jennifer Knerr, of Slatedale, a check Tuesday afternoon."It's a good thing those kids are doing for a terrible disease," he said.The 15-member team walked during the parade with collection cans for the cause. The team, formerly of upper Lehigh, was moved to Lower Carbon County Relay due to low event turnout. The new fundraising season started in October, with the team planning future events."It's a lot of work," Jennifer said. "We are looking forward to next year."
